Salary

PER DIEM PICC NURSES ARE PAID BY PLACEMENT. PLACEMENT FEES ARE LISTED BELOW.

• PICC Insertion- $175
• Midline Insertion- $150
• Extended Dwell Insertion- $125
• Peripheral IV- $100

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Nursing
• Current RN (Registered Nursing) license
• PICC Certification
• Current BLS certification
• COVID 19 Vaccinated Required
• 2 years of OR, IR, or PICC insertion experience.
• Must have good knowledge base for caring for central venous catheters.
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Position Summary

• Per Diem Position: Hours and Days will be discussed and agreed upon during interview/offer
• Assess and perform an overall evaluation of the patient.
• Responsible for placement of the line and ensure the line placement is correctly inserted.
• Provides education to patient and facility about the PICC (or midline) insertion and the care and maintenance issues post insertion
• Utilize own vehicle and will be paid .32/mile after the first 50 of each day
• Patient Population: Adult only
• PICC Nurse would travel to Nursing Homes and Acute Care Hospitals to provide services.
